I have always believed in the raw emotional power of music and its ability to catalyze real change in the world. In partnership with Pacem in Terris and Silverside Church, I’m excited to present a festival of new music: Songs For Change. On Sunday, April 28th, we will present six newly commissioned works for small ensembles promoting awareness of social justice through music. If you agree that we can use art to effect real change in race relations, gun violence, the #MeToo movement, immigration, and more, join us. I’ll stand with award-winning composers and some of New York, Philadelphia, and Wilmington’s finest musicians to foster peace and community through music.
